March weddings in Michigan can be a little unpredictable, and Scott and Carly’s big day definitely reminded us of that! Their wedding day arrived with gray skies and a bitter cold, but you would never know it from the joy and warmth that surrounded them from start to finish.

They chose the lovely Cascades Manor in Jackson, Michigan for their celebration, and it was the perfect backdrop for their classic, heartfelt day. Cascades Manor has vintage charm and beautiful park grounds that make it a perfect location for wedding photography. From the warm and inviting interior spaces to the timeless architecture, every corner offers something special. Even in late winter, the surrounding grounds provided gorgeous scenery that complemented Scott and Carly’s style beautifully.
Although temperatures were frigid, Scott and Carly never let the cold steal their smiles. They embraced the day exactly as it came. The warmth and beauty of the venue helped us to capture their day beautifully. Inside Cascades Manor, rich wood tones, glowing lights, and welcoming spaces created a cozy atmosphere that felt intimate and inviting.

One of my favorite parts of the day was watching how relaxed and comfortable Scott and Carly were together. Their connection was easy and genuine, and it showed in every image. Whether it was a quiet moment during portraits or the excitement of their first dance, their love for each other filled the room.
Their family and friends gathered close to celebrate them, and it was clear how loved and supported they are.
Scott and Carly’s wedding was a beautiful reminder that a perfect wedding day isn’t about the temperature or the forecast – it’s about the people, the love, and the memories being made. Cascades Manor provided the ideal setting for all of it, and I felt so honored to document such a meaningful start to their marriage.

Congratulations, Scott and Carly! May your life together be just as joyful, warm, and beautiful as your wedding day.
